Jose Orozco (Secretary), Bobbie Jones (Treasurer), Terri Davis (President), and Cody Jones (Vice President) work as one to move forward for a better community.
Cody Jones is a college student in Southern Nevada with dreams of being a helicopter pilot for the United States Military. She works as an electrical technician here in the valley. After 10/1, her dreams were fractured and it was hard to pick up the pieces, but with everyone's help she was able to do it. That's when she came up with the idea of Route 91 Nation, because not only was she suffering but other students were as well.
Terri Davis was born in Chicago, raised in San Jose, CA, went to college in Tulsa, OK, and then spent eleven years living in and traveling throughout Southeast Asia. During her time in Indonesia, Terri had the opportunity not only to volunteer with different community outreach programs, but she also was able to work with a Filipino non-profit to rebuild homes for a village destroyed by flooding. Though an avid writer, reader, sports enthusiast, and music lover, her greatest joy is found in helping young people discover their talents and reach for their dreams. After being in attendance at the Route 91 Harvest Festival on October 1, 2017 and helping out the mother of one lost that night, Terri has found that the most important thing anyone can do is to spread joy and be a positive influence in the world around them.
Bobbie Jones is the Treasurer of Route 91 Nation and mother of Founder and Vice President Cody Jones. Originally from Milwaukee, WI, she served in the US Army before moving to Las Vegas.
She has been a resident of Las Vegas since 1993 and has been attending Route 91 since its inaugural year, 2014. Going to Route 91 in 2014 came purely by chance. She won tickets for a meet and greet to Brantley Gilbert and then bought tickets for her and Cody to go to the concert. It became a yearly mother / daughter event. Route 91 2017 was a staycation at the Luxor for the two. They ended up being survivors of that fateful night and are making sure good comes out of it.
Jose Orozco has spent most of his life in Las Vegas and considers himself a native. Having missed the inaugural Route 91 Harvest Festival, he and his family made a promise to themselves that they would attend every one after that. Route 91 Harvest Festival 2017 was something they were looking forward to because they wanted to see Jason Aldean perform. That night he found himself going through something he never thought he’d go through. The events that took place also made him realize how short life can be, and he has since been doing what he can to help everyone affected by this tragedy.
